Back in Business: Gun Industry Plans for the Expiration of the Federal
Assault Weapons Ban
With the experation of the assault weapons ban, some have argued that it
will have significant consequences for public safety. The Consumer
Federation of America (CFA) sought answers to questions surrounding the
expiration of the assault weapons ban from an unconventional source: the
gun industry itself. CFA found that, while many things won't change as a
result of the assault weapons ban expiring, there will be some potentially
significant ramifications.
